What is the Guardian Program

We firmly believe that the dogs used for breeding should be family pets. When a female or male dog is loved and cared for within the family it aids to the socialisation of the Dam or Sire the result is the puppies are able to transition to their new homes very easily, essentially they make better pets. Plus you received a substantial discount on the cost of buying the puppy.

What do we require from you? That you love and care for the dog as if it is your own this includes standard vet checks, vaccinations, worming etc just as you would normally with any pet you own, and once the program is finished, which generally goes no longer than 5 years the dog is desexed and transferred into your name and becomes yours.

What do you receive from us? Not only do you get to care and love a miniature schnauzer as we do, but you will be closely working alongside us. We like to organise playdates to allow all our dogs to socialise you are provided with a workbook that’s tailored to the care of miniature schnauzers.

Any additional veterinarian costs in relation to breeding and the desexing of the dog once retired will be covered by Beards n Brows.
